Steam Detectives is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Kia Asamiya. It was originally serialized in Monthly Shōnen Jump and later moved to Ultra Jump. The series was adapted into a 26-episode anime television series. The story is set in Steam City, a place where the only fuel source is coal and the only means to produce energy is the steam engine. The series follows the adventures of the Steam Detectives, a group of detectives who investigate steam-powered crimes. Steam Detectives combines elements of steampunk, mystery, and action.
